Our Responsibilities

Affini’s Corporate and Social Responsibilities (CSR) are formed from a multi policy, self-regulating framework, which we monitor to ensure active compliance within the spirit of the law, ethical standards, and international standards. Our goal for CSR is to embrace responsibility for the company’s actions and ensure our activities have a positive impact on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere who may also be considered as stakeholders.

Work Place and Diversity

Environmental Stewardship

Affini takes its environmental responsibilities seriously. We understand that protecting and preserving our planet depends on small actions as well as large ones. We are continually looking for new ways to make our premises, products and processes as environmentally friendly as possible. We encourage innovations and suggestions from all members of staff to enhance our environmental footprint, whether through saving energy or resources, choosing responsible suppliers, streamlining processes or brand-new ideas.

Modern Slavery Act

Affini prohibits modern slavery within its own business and expects its contractors, suppliers and other business partners (no matter where located) to do the same. Affini reserves the right to require its contractors, suppliers and other business partners to provide assurance that neither they, nor their own suppliers, engage in any form of modern slavery.

SHEQ

SHEQ is an acronym for Safety, Health, Environment and Quality.

The Affini SHEQ management system (UK units certifications certified to international standards accreditations BS EN ISO 9001, 14000 and ISO 45001, Australasia ISO 9001), promotes a process approach to continual improvement of a comprehensive framework of interrelated elements including Group policy, processes and procedures that govern all of our activities. Effective management of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality, including a culture of Corporate responsibility and continual improvement, is of key importance to our stakeholders, customers, employees and the public.

ISO 9001 – Affini Quality management system’s aim is to ensure customer satisfaction by focusing on compliance with customer needs, requirements and satisfaction.

ISO 14001 – Affini Environmental management system’s aim is to limit adverse effects on the environment and to promote sustainability.

ISO 45001 – Affini Health and safety management system’s aim is to protect the health and safety of workers as well as the public.
